DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Abigail by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line:
Thomas Bowen died before this person was born. He can not be her father. "Richard Bowen (1594?-1675), of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, and his descendants"; Saxbe, William Bart, 1941-;Publication date 2011; Hope, R.I. : Rhode Island Genealogical Society page 35
How is she not a Fuller by birth? "Samuel Fuller married second, between April 11, 1663 and May 2, 1667, Elizabeth (Nicholas) Bowen. They had seven children." Based on her sister Abijah's birth date of December 1664 and the marriage window between Elizabeth Nicholas and Samuel Fuller she is right in the middle of that range.
Is there a source for her as the daughter of Thomas...the details in the bio suggest that she may be the daughter of his brother Obadiah, but that its uncertain.
