I don't know precisely where Richard died but he is buried in St Catherine's Church, Preston-next-Faversham in Kent.

According to the inscription, he was the eldest son of his parents and died aged nine years and eight months. St Catherine's also has a very large monument which Richard Boyle, the first Earl of Cork, had sculpted in memory of his parents Roger Boyle and Joan Naylor.
