He was born in 1062 in Linlet, Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire, England to Bernard De Brampton, born 1033. [1]
Maurice Boddy reports that Sir Brian I de Brampton (born c. 1046) married Maude de Braose (daughter of __ de Braose and Bertha). [2]
Brian married Heloise Devereux, born 1167. [1] Note -- this is bad data since she was apparently born a hundred years after her husband.
Maurice Boddy reports that Brian I and his wife Maude were the parents of Sir Brian II de Brampton of Cleobury Mortimer (born c. 1064) who married Philippa d"Evreux (born at Rosmar, c. 1075, daughter of Walter d"Evreux and Phili9ppa. Brian died c. 1122 and Philippa died 1140. [2]
Boddy reports further that Margaret de Brampton, daughter of Brian II, married Simon Corbet. [2]
