Mercy, daughter of William and Lydia (Partridge) Brewster, was born at Duxbury, MA on December 7, 1685. She married Edward Arnold, son of Seth and Elizabeth (Gray) Arnold, on October 8, 1706. Edward and Mercy had two children but only one survived infancy. Her husband died between September 27, 1744, his sister's will where he was named co-executor, and March 21, 1748, the date his will was probated. Mercy died between March 21, 1748, when her husband's will was probated and she was named executrix, and November 7, 1748, when she was not mentioned in the division of her uncle's will.
