Bethiah Brewster5 (Daniel4, Benjamin3, Jonathan2, William1) was born April 5, 1702, in Preston, Connecticut, the daughter of Daniel Brewster and Hannah (Gager) Brewster.[1][2] She was baptized in a few months on June 7, 1702, at the First Preston Congregational Church.[3]

Bethiah married William Parrish on May 23, 1738 in Windham, Connecticut.[1][2][4] She was his second wife, and he married a third time after her death.[1] She would have spent the short term of their marriage, raising his children and their daughter Bethiah, who was born Sep. 26, 1739.
Two different death dates for Bethiah have been found. The Barbour Collection of Town Vital Records lists the death of Bethiah Parish as Feb. 26, 1741/2, in Windham, Connecticut.[5] "The Brewster Book," a family record, kept by successive generations of contemporary Brewsters, states her death as Feb. 8, 1741.[2] A legible gravestone for Bethiah has not been found to confirm either date. Her daughter, Jerusha, was born Feb. 1, and died on the 14th, so Bethiah probably died from the complications of childbirth.
