Confirmation of Parents 1833 Kings County, Nova Scotia

pauljmcdonough pauljmcdonough originally shared this on 21 Oct 2012

The following email segment was received from Stephen Franey, 1 May 2011: I was reading your posting on Rootsweb and can confirm that the Alice Brewster, daughter of Samuel Brewster was the wife of Stephen Hall.

In Kings County, Nova Scotia, there is a deed registered in Book 10, Page 346 dated 4 Nov 1833 in which Samuel Hall of the Parish of Saint Stephen in New Brunswick sold land to Robert Parker, son of Daniel Parker m. Lydia Brewster (and sister of Alice Brewster). The relevant passage is, "2/5ths of a certain tract of land situate under the North Mountain (so called) in the Township of Cornwallis aforesaid being part of a tract of land formerly in possession of Alice Hall wife of Stephen Hall (formerly Alice Brewster) late of Cornwallis aforesaid containing 100 acres more or less."
