1695: November 11: Joshua Brooks sold his Concord lands to his four sons, Noah, Daniel, Joseph and Job, with the consent of his wife. [2]
1697: August 24: The brothers Noah Brooks, Daniel Brooks Sen., Joseph Brooks Sen., Benjamin Pierce, Benjamin Whittemore, and Judah Potter, conveyed by deed, all the rights that Job Brooks had of the estate of his father Joshua Brooks, deceased, to their brother Hugh Brooks. [1][2]
He married first Abigail Bateman on January 31, 1703/4. [1] Abigail was born July 29, 1677, daughter of Thomas and Abigail (Merriam) Bateman. [4][2]
Abigail died January 24, 1704/5, after the birth of their child. [2][4]
He married second Rebecca Blodgett on June 26, 1706. [1][4] Rebecca was born at Woburn on June 5, 1789, daughter of Thomas and Rebecca (?Tidd) Blodgett. [5][2]
He died on July 11, 1746 and is buried in the Hill Burying Ground at Concord. [4][2]
Joseph wrote his will on May 4, 1746. In it he names: [6]
