Biography

Abner Brooks died young.

Abner Brooks was born at Concord, Massachusetts on April 13, 1740, son of Benjamin Brooks and Sarah Heywood. . [1]

Abner died at Townsend on September 2, 1747. [2] He is buried in the Old Burying Grounds, Townsend, Middlesex, Massachusetts, with his parents and siblings. His inscription reads: Here Lies ye Body of Abner Brooks ye Son of Mr. Benjamin Brooks & Mrs. Sarah Brooks His Wife who Decsd Septbr ye 2d AD 1748 in ye 8 Year of his Age. [3] [4]
