Biography

Martha (Patty) Brooks was born at Lincoln, Massachusetts on October 7, 1764, daughter or Ephraim and Sarah (Heywood) Brooks. ^[1]

She married David Wheeler III of Concord, on May 22, 1783 at Lincoln. ^[1] Her husband was born at Concord on June 30, 1758, son of David and Rebecca (Jones) Wheeler. ^{[2] [3][4]}

David died at Concord on October 5, 1806 in his 49th year. ^[2]

It is thought that his widow married Jacob Miller on February 24, 1811. ^[3]

Martha Miller died on September 23, 1837. ^[4]

Martha Miller is buried in the Old Cemetery, Oakland, Kennebec, Maine. The gravestone says Martha Miller died Sept, 23, 1837 ""AEt. 73 yr^[5]
