Aaron Brooks was born in Concord on August 24, 1727 [1], son of Thomas Brooks and Hannah Dakin. [2][3][4]
He married Mary Stone at Concord on January 2, 1755. [1][4] Mary was born about 1733 and baptized at Lexington, Massachusetts on March 17, 1734/5 [5], daughter of Gregory Stone and Mary Converse. [2] They resided at Lincoln, Massachusetts.
He died on February 23, 1811, at Lincoln, aged 83 years. [6][4][2] He is buried in the Town Hill Cemetery at Lincoln. His inscription reads: ERECTED In Memory of Mr. AARON BROOKS who died Feb. 23d 1811 Æt. 84.[7]
Aaron's sons Thomas and Joseph Brooks were appointed estate executors. The court appointed a committee to complete the estate inventory. They assessed Aaron's real estate at L547: 0: 0 and his personal estate at L500:38. In the will written on June 4, 1806, Aaron left bequests to the following: [8]
