Mary Brooks , the daughter of Hugh Brooks and Abigail (Barker) Brooks}, was born on July 11, 1714, in Concord, MIddlesex, Province of Massachusetts Bay.^[1][2]

Marriage

Mary Brooks married Joseph Hapgood on 26 Apr 1739 in Concord, Middlesex, Massachusetts.^[3]

Death

Mary (Brooks) Hapgood died at Marlborough, Massachusetts, on 15 Sep 1807, after more than 40 years of widowhood. The published Marlborough vital records show her age at death as 92 years from the town records, 93 years from her gravestone;^[4] the gravestone age is correct.

Burial

Mary (Brooks) Hapgood is buried at the Spring Hill Cemetery in Marlborough, Massachusetts.^[5][6]
