Elizabeth or "Lizzie" Brown was the daughter of Hiram Brown and Mary Allison; she was born 7 July 1828 in Jackson County, Tennessee.[1] She first married Thomas G. Bradford on 3 Mar 1847 in White County, Tennessee.[2] They had one daughter, Mary, before he died in 1849.[3]
She secondly married Daniel V. Phy on 8 Dec 1850 in Sparta, White County, Tennessee.[4] They had six children together and lived in District 2 of Putnam County near the Falling Water River on the 1860 - 1880 censuses. He was a farmer, and she was a homemaker. She passed away on 4 Feb 1893 at the age of 64 in Putnam County, Tennessee, and is buried with Daniel in Brown's Mill Cemetery out of Cookeville in Putnam County.[5]
