Hi! I changed the project box for US Southern Colonies Project to a sticker. If you think the profile should be managed by the US Southern Colonies Project, please fill out the Management Request Form (see the link, here).

upon saving, received the following automated message:

Warning: Check the data.
  • A father's death date (Burwell-49 died 1750) should not be more than nine months before one of his children's birth dates (Burwell-53 born 23 Oct 1750) .
  • A birth date (Burwell-53 born 23 Oct 1750) should not be within eight months of a sibling's birth date (Burwell-57 born 15 Apr 1750) unless they are twins born within a day of each other.

Thanks. I am happy to relinquish this profile. I filled out the Management Request Form. (in this case, and in the previous profile, since you are already aware of the profile, filling out the Management Request Form seems to be an unnecessary task)

Sorry about that. The thing is, the project at one point had its project box on thousands of profiles. For technical reasons, we need to keep the number of profiles managed by WikiTree-24 down (under 5000). Since in the past, only the project box was added (not the project account), that was ok. In 2017, WikiTree clarified that if the project box was displayed, then the project account had to be a manager. I looked at this profile and changed the project box to a sticker because I did not see the need for it to be a project-managed profile. In case I missed something that called for it to be a project-managed profile, that needs to be pointed out (via the Management Request Form).

See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Project-Managed_Profiles for more about project-managed profiles.

Cheers, Liz
