Butler-596 and Butler-593 appear to represent the same person because: John Butler (father of William Butler) had parents Ralph Butler and Margaret de Berwick, there is no middle John Butler. It appears there was a mistake in birth dates and it was assumed that there were two John Butlers before William, but there was only one, born in 1408 and died in 1477. It makes no sense that William Butler would have a father born in the same year as he was, to note. Therefore, these are the same person, accidentally created twice.
