Biography
John Butler[1] was born in 1635 at Cambridge, Middlesex, Massachusetts.[2] He died in 1690 at Branford, Connecticut.[3]
Research Notes
This John Butler is neither the John Butler (abt.1661-abt.1691) who married Hannah (Potter) Butler (1665-) nor the John Butler (1617-1681) the father of that John. Both of those are pretty well documented in WikiTree. In addition I'm not sure that he is the son of Richard Butler (abt.1610-1684). There is no John in the list of children on Richard's file.

There is no John Butler listed in the will of Richard Butler 1612-1684, but the five other sons attached to Richard's profile ARE listed in the will. Is there any reason to believe that John was Richard's son?

Butler-9968 and Butler-6989 are not ready to be merged because: more work needs to be done to determine which details are correct if they are the same. There are different fathers to balnce out the - possibly - same wife.
