Robert Calvert was born 1546 in County Durham, England near Yorkshire. He was the son of Sir John Calvert (1525-1566 and Dorothy (Leonard) Calvert (1527-1611). Dorothy was born in Herstmonceux Castle, Sussex, England died died in Bolton Castle, Yorkshire, England. ^[1]

Robert attended Magdalene College of Cambridge University. ^[1]

Mrriage

Robert Calvert married Margaret Cubie (1557-1645) in Prestonpans, Gloucestershire, England in 1577. Margaret was the daughter of Walter Cubie (1515-?) . Margaret was from Scotland, and this couple lived in Scoltand, and their only child was born in Scotland.^[1]

Death

Robert Calvert died aft 1616 in North Yorkshire, England. His burial location is unknown at this time.^[1]

Robert and Margaret Calvert were the parents of Anne Marie Calvert. Anne married Dr. James Bealle and was the mother of 10 children, including Colonel Ninean Beall who was famous in the USA.^[1]
