Biography

Joseph Camp was born on 13 Dec 1777 in Rutherford, North Carolina; his father Benjamin was a senator. He married Elizabeth Camp and they had five children together. He then married Martha Camp and they had one daughter together. He died in Douglasville, Georgia on 27 Feb 1854.

Joseph was a member of the 4th Georgia Militia during the War of 1812.
