Biography
David was born on 27 February 1708 in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, and his parents were Patience Atherton and David Chaffee, Sr. (1680-1750).[1]
David Chaffe(e), Jr. married on 04 April 1733 in Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts to Martha (Walker) Chaffee (1714-1820).[2]
The family moved to Windham, Connecticut between the births of Abner Chaffee (1746-1755) and Johanna Chaffee (1749-1820)
David passed away at age 74 on 19 February 1784, in Ashford, Connecticut.[3] He is buried in Westford Hill Cemetery in Ashford, Windham County, Connecticut.[4]
David's probate case 848 was dated 25 February 1784.[5] David wrote his will 19 May 1783. In it he mentions:

- daughter Elizabeth Bowen
- daughter Dorothy Knox
- daughter Anna Smith
