Bridget was born in 1711(?). Bridget Chandler ... She passed away in 1754.^[1]

Notes

• While it does appear that Bridget Chandler married a Josiah Wood on 03 Jun 1731 in Charlestown, Massachusetts (per americanancestors.org), I don't think she married this Josiah Wood. Based on numerous entries in History of Enfield (all three volumes), Josiah was living in Enfield and Somers, Connecticut at that time, and raising a family with Hannah Killam. I'll be unlinking the reference from Bridget to that Josiah. I'd look for a Josiah Wood who was born or living in Charlestown as a likely suspect. ---Scott Prentice

It seems more likely that Bridget's husband was Josiah Wood born at Charlestown 8 March 1703/4 son of Joseph and Mary (Blaney) Wood. Bridget's husband Josiah died in Charlestown in 1753. One of the persons providing surety for the probate of Josiah's estate was Thomas Wood of Charlestown and Joseph and Mary (Blaney) Wood had a son Thomas in Charlestown.

Research Notes

A Bridget Chandler of these parents was born and died 1711 in Andover, Essex, Mass. Assuming it should be her sister born the following year.
