The wife of Thomas Chase was simply named Elizabeth and never described as the daughter of the Earl of Bath in her death record.[2] He is being detached from Elizabeth Bouchier.
The legit. da. of the Earl of Bath would have married someone with status and property, which Thomas Chase was not. He was not a knight and not the Lord of the Manor of Hundridge. Sir Richard Dormer was the Lord of Hundridge. Thomas' 3 sons were involved in a legal matter over the unlawful killing of a buck, something that would never have happened had he been Lord of the Manor. [1].
Marriage & Children

What is the source document of proof that this Thomas Chase Jr is actually the son of Thomas Chase of Hundricke/Hundridge, since the book Seven Generations of the Descendants of Aquila and Thomas Chase doesn't refer to Thomas Chase in regard to the other kin listed on page 22?
The lineage about this profile is based on a misinterpretation of the Chace of Chesham pedigree. This Thomas Chase is the top person in that pedigree, which is easily established by comparing the pedigree to the info in "Seven Generations"
This Thomas Chase has a WikiTree profile Chase-372 with very different dates of Birth & Death (1545-1569) with same wife, Elizabeth Bowchiew. How can that profile be merged with my profile #2654?
Thomas Chase & Elizabeth Bowchiew are my direct ancestors. I descend from William Chase of Yarmouth, Massachusetts several times over. The records I have seen shows that William was a descendant of this Thomas Chase.
