Research Notes

Vital Statistics

Name
This Abraham left a number of records, he never used even a middle initial, much less a middle name of any name. I removed Robert as a middle name.

Death
I changed the death date used above (6 Dec 1693) as he wrote his will on that date ( sealed with black tar & pitch).

A codcil was added "June ye 5 1698" - It was probated Henrico County August 1st 1698. Therefore I have listed his death date as before 1 Aug 1698.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Abraham by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Abraham:

Childers-3152 and Childers-15 appear to represent the same person because: same person
While cleaning this profile I got the following message: A birth date (Childers-15 born 1 Apr 1655) should not be within eight months of a sibling's birth date (Childers-14 born 1 Jan 1655) unless they are twins born within a day of each other.

Childress-1667 and Childers-15 appear to represent the same person because: Only differnce is month of birth.

Childress-1667 and Childers-15 appear to represent the same person because: Same person, last name spelling would need to be addressed before merge but the records indicate they are the same person.
My opinion, this profile needs to be cleaned up and undocumented facts removed.

Childers-1819 and Childers-15 are not ready to be merged because: Same reason as before. Even if these are the same, father and grandparents need to be sorted first.

Childers-1819 and Childers-15 are not ready to be merged because: These may be the same person, but should not be merged until different fathers sorted. Cannot just merge different fathers as they have different parents as well.
Childers-1819 and Childers-15 appear to represent the same person because: Same wife
Childress-665 and Childers-15 appear to represent the same person because: same birth/death dates & places; same spouse
Problem with some dates on this profile. First two children, Abraham and Henry, appear to have been born before Abraham's marriage to Anne Pew. Also daughter Jane is stated to have been born in 1695, two years after Abraham died. Can someone fix these dates?
Childers-730 and Childers-15 appear to represent the same person because: same person, specific birth needs source, year is the same, parents are the same once they are merged

Childers-15 and Childress-448 appear to represent the same person because: Same birth, death, father. Looks like Childers is the correct LNAB. Thanks
