Biography
Andre Amable Cholet was born and baptised on February 17, 1738 at Pointe-Claire, Canada, Nouvelle-Fracne. Present at baptism were: Andre Prezau, Marie Josephe Seguin and Pretre-Missionnaire Gladel.[1]
He is the son of Jean Baptiste Cholet and Marie Anne Faucher.[2]
He married Marie Ursule Brisebois, daughter of Ambroise Dubois and Marie Anne Legault, on January 16, 1769 at Vaudreuil, Province de Québec.[3]
André died on March 8, at the age of 56 years, and was buried on March 10, 1795 at Vaudreui, Bas-Canadal. He was 57 years old.[4]
