Jean-Baptiste was the son of Jean-Baptiste Choret and Marie-Anne Ouellett.[1]

Jean-Baptiste married Marie-Anne Gauvin on 4 Nov 1748 in St-Roch-des-Aulnaies, Quebec, Canada. [2] They had six known children:
