Biography

7th Child of William Churchill and Ruth Tyron. Born 26 Dec 1771 in the Wyoming Valley. Went with his father’s family to NJ and about 1798 moved to Homer NY, and then to Scipio, Cayuga County, NY, Marietta OH, and eventually Michigan. He was a Decon in the Baptist church for 50 years. [1]

Married Jane Dell 24 Mar 1797 Morris, New Jersey, New Jersey[2] They had 13 children, she died 1 April, 1839. [3]

Residence: 1860 in Michigan in household of son Adna Churchill. [4]
