Biography

Jane was the daughter of Savory and Dorothy Burge Clifton; she was born in 1697 at Rochester in the Massachusetts Bay Colony.^[1] She married Thomas Bowerman as his second wife at Falmouth in 1721^[2] and they had nine children together.^[3]
