John Breathitt, Esq Governor of the Common Wealth of Kentucky: Know Ye that by virtue & in consideration of the sum of forty dollars paid into the Recievers office at Waidsboro, agreeably to an act of Assembly approved the third day of January One thousand eight hundred and twenty five, there is granted by the said Commmonweath unto Lewis Clapp the North West quarter of Section Seven Township one, Range Three East containing one hundred and sixty acres. with its oppurtances etc. to Lewis Clapp 'and his heirs forever. In witness whereof, the said John Breathitt, Esq. Gov. of the Common wealth of Kentucky has caused the seal of the said commonweath to be affixed at Frankfort, on the thirteenth day of December in the year of our lord, one thousand eight hundred and thirty two.
