Daniel Clark, the son of Stephen Clark and Sarah Hill, was born 8 June 1715 and died in 1804. He was a resident of North Haven. On 14 May 1740 he married Phebe Bradley, the daughter of Joseph Bradley and Anna Heaton. Daniel had 9 children with Phebe: Levi, Eunice, Phebe, Daniel, Edmund, Susanna, Clement, Obedience, and Amelia. Phebe died about 1759, and Daniel married Hannah Chidsey, the widow of Levi Bradley. Daniel had 5 more children with Hannah: Levi, Polly, Chidsey, Sarah, and Chidsey.[1]
