Carew presumably died on or around 5 june, 1759, when his will was brought to the probate office at North Kingston.^[4] He is buried on a lot belonging to John Thomas Spink at Quidnesset.^[5]

Carew left a will dated 14 April ______ (28th year of George II) and proved at North Kingstown 14 July 1760 on oath of Zorobabel & Stukely Westcott. ^[4]It names
