Biography
Daniel "Cobra" Clayton was born in 1768 in Person County, NC. He married Ann Crews on January 22 1798.[1]
In 1820[2] and 1830[3] Daniel and family can be found in the Person County, NC census.
Sometime between 1831 and 1839 Daniel and family moved to Lawrence County, IN. Daniel can be found in the 1840 census[4]
In 1850 Daniel was a farmer living in Shawswick Township, Lawrence County, IN[5]
Daniel died sometime around 1853[6]
