From the source, John Howland of the Mayflower, Volume III, (Hope Howland), page 85:[6]
Ebenezer Cobb married, probably in Middleboro, Mass., but not recorded at the town Hall, about 1716 Mary Vaughn, who was born in Middleboro 6 October 1694, the daughter of Joseph and Joanna (Thomas) Vaughn and the sister of Ebenezer's brother Jonathan's wife Elizabeth/Betty Vaughn. Mary, called Mary Cobb, married second as his second wife, in Ipswich, Mass., 16 February 1724/5 John Mariner.. Mary had two more daughters by her second husband, named Mary Mariner, born in Gloucester, Mass., 17 January 1726/7, and Hannah Mariner, baptized in Falmouth, Me., in September 1730.
"Ebenezer's Father-in-law, Joseph Vaughn of Middleboro, made his will 12 March 1732 after Ebenezer had died and his wife, Mary Vaughn, had remarried. In his will Joseph Vaughn called his daughter "Mary Mariner" and gave her a share of his household goods and 20 pounds out of his estate."
"We know that Ebenezer had children because on 14 DEC 1734, , at Falmouth (ME), 60 acres were laid out to the hairs of Ebenezer Cobb, dec'd." [7]
