Biography

Sophia was born on 2 June 1785 in Taunton, Bristol, Massachusetts, United States. She was the daughter of James Tisdale (1741-1811) and his first wife Tabitha Cobb (1749-1793).[1]

Sophia married Manassah Short Sr. (1784-1866) in 22 March 1807 in Taunton, Bristol, Massachusetts, United States.[2]

In the 1850 census Sophia (age 65) was in Cortlandville, Cortland, New York, United States.[3]
