Anne Cobham (c.1465-1526) was the daughter of Sir Thomas de Cobham and Anne Stafford. She and Edward Blount, 2nd Lord Mountjoy were either engaged or married between 18 June 1475 and 1 Dec 1475 when he died at the age of 11 and Anne was 8 years old. She m.(2) Sir Edward Burgh, 2nd Lord Burgh (of Gainsborough), son of Sir Thomas de Burgh, 1st Lord Burgh (of Gainsborough) and Margaret de Ros, in 1477. By modern doctrin she succeeded to the title of de jure 6th Baroness Cobham, of Sterborough in 1471, and any right to the Barony Cobham of Sterborough united with her son's title.[1]
