Biography

Josiah Colson was born about 1745 in Berwick, York, Massachusetts Bay Colony, His father was Hatevil Corson (1714 - ~1808).

Josiah married Elizabeth Drown (1747 - 1822). Their daughter was Lois (Colson) Lowell (1766 - 1810).

They relocated to Bucksport circa 1774, when his brother James sold him land there. They are noted as residing there in 1775.

Josiah died on 20 Mar 1826 in Bucksport, Hancock, Maine, United States aged ~80.
