Biography

Deborah Cooke was born to Josiah and Deborah (Hopkins) Cook, February 15, 1679. She died April 16, 1745.[1]

Deborah married Moses Godfrey by 1707, possibly in Eastham, Massachusetts.[2] Another reference states that they married about 1700, in Eastham, Massachusetts.[3]

Notes: Wife of Moses, Daughter of Josiah Cooke and Deborah Hopkins Cooke. She married Moses bet.1693-1700. They are buried in the Old Cemetery AKA. (Queen Anne Cemetery). Notes for Deborah Cooke, Descended from Stephen Hopkins, from the Mayflower thru her mother side. Burial at Chathams oldest burying ground. The LDS Church has her born on Feb.15 1679 died on 4-16 1743 and married 1693 this information is from Moses Godfrey pedigree chart, ancesta file v4.19. Burial in Chatham Old Burial Ground-North and South Section -aka 'Old Queen Anne Cemetry'.[citation needed]

Cook-9576 and Cooke-31 appear to represent the same person because: I propose a merge of Cook 9576 into Cooke 31.
