He was born about 1815 in Virginia, USA and his parents were Sarah (Hall) and Martin Couch (1785-1856).
John C. Couch married on 22 Apr 1837 in Perry County, Kentucky, USA to Rachel Combs (1821-1895, daughter of Henry Combs and Nancy Ann Brown) and they lived at Brownsfork.
He died about 1890 in Perry County, Kentucky, USA and was buried in the family cemetery behind their old home place, at John "Mocassin" Couch Cemetery at Browns Fork in Perry County, Kentucky, USA. [1]

Couch-1772 and Couch-428 appear to represent the same person because: When I first joined WikiTree, almost everybody I added wouldn't come up with a match, so I continued to add them. Now, because of it, there are multiple profiles for the same people. I'm just trying to clean them up a bit.
