Thomas was born circa 1648, the son of James Cutler and his second wife Mary at Watertown Massachusetts[1][2]. He was noted in his father's will in 1694[1]
In 1653, he moved with his family to the part of Cambridge that was later known as Lexington[1]
By 1674 he was married to Abigail Unknown[1][2][3]
