Biography

John Dain was born on July 13, 1780 in Lisbon, Androscoggin, ME. His parents were John Dains and Elizabeth Proctor. He married Hannah Proctor on January 13, 1818

Together they had 5 children:

  1. John Dain
  2. Harriet Dain
  3. Matilda Dain
  4. Fredrick Dain
  5. Martha Dain

He died in May of 1880


Burial: Evergreen Cemetery in Portland, Cumberland County, Maine, United States.
