Thomas Darcy was born c. 1540 at Hornby Castle Yorkshire England. He was the son of Sir Arthur Darcy and Mary Carew.
He married 1 May 1561 at Beddington, Surrey, Elizabeth Conyers, daughter of Sir John Conyers, 3rd Lord Conyers and Lady Maud Clifford.[1]
Their son was Conyers Darcy, 7th Lord Darcy de Knayth was born 27 Augist 1570 and died 03 March 1653/54.
Thomas Darcy held the office of Lieutenant of the Tower of London.
He died on 6 November 1605 in England. [2]
This profile began as a Yorkshire Darcy, but became very confused as a result of an early bad merge with an Essex Darcy (Darcy-176) on 27 May 2013).
I have restored him to his original self.
