Biography

Waugh Darnell was the son of Morgan J Darnall Jr. (abt.1707-abt.1777) (b 1707) and Elizabeth (Unknown) Darnall (1707-).

Waugh was named as heir to the estate of his brother Morgan Darnell Jr. (1733-1766) receiving "5 pounds due on the rent of my plantation ". John Darnall Sr. (abt.1738-abt.1819) received Morgan Darnall, Jr. rifle gun. Brother, Isaac Darnell (abt.1729-aft.1782), received land and plantation containing 150 acres, horse, bridle, saddle and all wearing appareland all debts due me in Carolina. Their mother and the first wife of brother Waugh, not yet identified, were given all money in his pocket book in equal partition. John Wood, son of Samuel Wood received as much money out of the estate that would pay for one year schooling. Morgan Darnall Jr., their father, was named as Exr; Wit: Jean Darnall, James Wheakley, and Elizabeth Darnall.[1]

Waught appears to have married Ann or Anne Price on 23 Jun 1777 in Culpeper, Culpeper, Virgnia, USA., after his brother's death. [2]

ALERT: I personall have a variety of different DOB-DOD for his brother, Morgan JR., mentioned in the bio. There are several Waugh Darnells. I have not done enough research to substantiate each in his own location. Look at this profile with fresh ideas.
