Belitje was born about 1734. She was the daughter of Salomon Davis and Lea Decker. She passed away about 1803. [1]

Note: Beletje was baptized at Machackemeck, Orange County New York on 31 May 1738, witnesses: Salomon Davids and Beletje Quik. She was still living 14 March 1821. In the marriage records at Machackemeck, New York, she and Jacob are listed as Jacob Figels and Bebte Dawets. He born "Hoge Duyst Land" (i.e., High German Land (in Southern Germany & Northern Switzerland)) and both of Maggehemeck. Their names are listed in varying forms in different times and places. On 26 Aug 1739 they were the witnesses for the baptism of Beletje, daughter of Joel Quick and Christina Middag=Jacob Viegli and Beletje Davis, his wife.
