The children of Tongure Ulster were required to Salute him.

Per Genealogical Research of Lorraine Luke: " Andries was baptised in the Old Dutch Church of Kingston (Hoes 6917) with sponsors of Andries de Witt and Blanding Ten Eyck. He was a sargent in the Ulster Co. militia during the American Revolution. He carried dispatches through lands infested with Indians and Tories. He lived in Olive, in 1840. He was married to Sarah by Reverend S. Goetchims at Marbletown. Reference DAR-178." [Sic]

Also note that Genealogical Research of Lorraine Luke lists an additional son: Abraham Helm Davis, b. 19 Sep 1799 in Olive, Ulster County, New York. This conflicts with birth date of daughter Sally ( Sarah ) Davis, born 5 Aug 1799 in Marbletown. ( Note of Sharyn Ennist Leonard)
