Per his death certificate issued in Port Arthur, Texas, Ernest Joseph Decuir died of heart condition at the age of 90 years. He was listed as a widowed retired Carpenter who had resided in Port Arthur for 26 years. His parents, were listed as Maximillan Decuir and Clara Mestayer, both of Louisiana. [1]
