Note de recherche / Research Note

There is a claim that the proper first name in this profile is not "Adam" but "Adrien". On the baptism record of Adam's son Philippe Des Trois Maisons and of Adam's burial record it is clear that his name was Adam, and not Adrien.

PRDH mentions "Adrien", no trace of "Adam". Mes Aieux: none of either.

No reason to use the "dit" name "Picard" for Adam, or any other ancestors: these people lived in Picardy and there was no reason to nickname them "Picard"... All the villagers were Picards.

I agree on des trois maison, we see that all the time with la ___, du ___ etc. What I meant is that I believe Adam's baptism shows his mother's family name, although the given name is blank.

as I read the baptism, the mother's given name is absent but her family name is there. Comments?

I did find 3 baptisms for probable siblings (it's unclear to me if the wife is the same in the last two, though):

Jeanne (1603): http://archivesenligne.pasdecalais.fr/ark:/64297/49eba845e7855f889705396fdc583ea2 Madeleine (1605): http://archivesenligne.pasdecalais.fr/ark:/64297/m6jcg3czoppptct1 Nicolas (1607): http://archivesenligne.pasdecalais.fr/ark:/64297/ec6cc7902ac776a1419831b6420b67e2

Jetté is the one that lists Philippe's father as Adrien, and lists Philippe's grandparents as Antoine and Jeanne Lacherer, of Trois-Maisons (p. 350). Fichier Origine has Archange Godbout as one of the researchers -- I wonder if his research papers would give more details as to what they found (http://pistard.banq.qc.ca/unite_chercheurs/description_fonds?p_anqsid=201308101323381060&p_centre=03Q&p_classe=P&p_fonds=327&p_numunide=1387).

The different church records (Adam, Philippe) should justify the FNAB and CLN as "Des Trois Maisons", even "des trois maisons".

Thanks. Saw the baptism record, but only the father is mentioned. There may be a marriage record or sibling's baptism record to confirm the mother, though.
https://www.werelate.org/wiki/Person:Adam_Destroismaisons_%281%29 is the most reliable data that François Marchi found for him. There is a baptism with a source in departmental archives.

Where do all the parents and siblings come from on this profile? Is there anything to support his being the uncle of Philippe des Trois Maisons's wife?

Thanks - Isabelle, French Roots Project.

Destroismaisons-28 and Destroismaison dit Picard-3 appear to represent the same person because: Same details

This family tree makes no sense: 3 of his ancestors on his dad's side were born after him...
