Biography

Benjamin was a Friend (Quaker)

Benjamin Dixon, son of Simon and Elizabeth, married Ruth Marshill, dau of Wm & Mary Marshill, before 1804, in Chatham County, and they were members of the Cane Creek Monthly Meeting. Issue:

  1. William, b. 6/3/1804
  2. Elizabeth, b. 2/8/1806
  3. Mary, b. 3/6/1808
  4. Hannah, b. 1/23/1810
  5. Simon, b. 7/15/1813

Benj died 4/5/1839, and Ruth d. 4/8/1851 [1]
