Biography

Jesse Dodson Jr. was born the 18th of December 1806 in Kentucky. Jesse was the son of Jesse Dodson Sr. and Margaret "Peggy" McCorkle.

Jesse married Jane Patton the 10th October 1826 in Champaign County, Ohio.[1]

Jesse appears in the 1830 Federal census in Champaign County, Ohio. Jesse's household appears as follows: 1 male under age 5; 1 male age 5 thru 9; 1 male age 20 thru 29; 1 female under age 5; 1 female age 20 thru 29; and 1 female age 30 thru 39.[2]

Jesse died the 29th of December 1839 in Logan County, Ohio. Jesse was buried in the Olive Chapel Cemetery, Quincy, Logan County, Ohio.[3]
