Biography

Henry was born in 1826. He was the son of Nathan Dolbier and Mary Dyer.[1]

In Sep 1850 he was a farmer living in New Portland, Somerset, Maine.[2] The household included Nathan Dolbier age 53, Mary Dolbier age 50, Henry C Dolbier age 23, Mary A Dolbier age 20, Catharine D Dolbier age 18, Nathan Dolbier age 16, Josaphine P Dolbier age 14, Nancy C Colbier age 11, Sarah M Dolbier age 9, Benjamin Dolbier age 25, Emily Dolbier age 20, and Hiram F Dolbier age 5 months, all born in Maine.

He married Cynthia Reed 24 Nov 1859 in Kingfield, Franklin, Maine.[3]

In June 1860 he was a farm laborer living in Kingfield, Franklin, Maine.[4] The household included Henry C Colbier age 33, Cynthia Dolbier age 19, and George H Dolbier age 2 months, all born in Maine.

In 1870 he was a farm laborer living in New Portland, Somerset, Maine.[5] The household included Isaac Tufts age 63 born in Massachusetts, Christina Tufts age 59 born in Maine, H C Dolbier age 43 born in Maine, Geo H Dolbier age 10 born in Maine, and Cynthia E Dolbier age 3 born in Maine.

In 1880 he was a widower, working as a farm laborer in Kingfield, Franklin, Maine.[6] The household included Thomas Cross age 69, his wife Emma L Cross age 25, their son Vinfield S Cross age 8, their son Mark L Cross age 5, their daughter Florence Cross age 1, and boarder Henry Dolbier age 53, all born in Maine.

In 1900 he was living in Auburn, Androscoggin, Maine.[7] The household included James A Pike age 41, his wife Cedell H Pike age 39, son James M Pike age 11, daughter Emma P Pike age 4, daughter Charlotte E Pike age 2, mother in law Christina Goss age 66, and servant Henry C Dolbier age 72, all born in Maine.

He died 4 Dec 1902 in Auburn, Maine.[1]
