The visitation cited only says he married a Stafford from county Derby. But wikitree has him marrying a daughter of an Earl who does not appear in for example Richardson's books. I note from searching online discussions that there was a fraudulent Dunham line connecting the Stafford to Americans. Is there any chance wikitree is preserving part of that?
