Biography

Jacob Duryea was the son of Joost Duryea and baptized on 26 August 1750. [1] He married 19 October 1771 to Sarah Smith. [2] He dated his will 27 August 1779; it was proved on 1 August 1781. [3] His children were all minors when he passed, however their grandfather was still living. [4] When the grandfather died, he left a portion of his estate to the three boys, with a special bequest to George. [5]
