daughter Anna Catharina (Venter) Nienaber would have been connected by McArthur-306 in 2016 (ref his note at top of profile) but prevented by "Project Protection" please review the relationship, - and the merits of project protection :)

with thanks, Richard

It was only noticed until now because there was no manager and also no project to alert to the edits (the message) in the bio of the child profile Venter-2119. It has nothing to do with the pro's and con's of project protection, though if you'd want to question that you'll have to go the G2G and find the previous discussions. The marital edits (spouses and children) have to pass through research coordinators and leaders, because of faulty secondary sources and mistakes made by managers and WikiTree contribuants. The protection is also mainly to ensure that the spelling of the LNAB and the parent connections are safeguarded.

Duvenage-35 and Duvenhage-12 appear to represent the same person because: Same data. Duvenhage-12 already existed. Appr. ate of birth = 1802 (not the same as definite date of baptism = 10 April 2013).
