- Moved from Cape Elizabeth, Maine to Yorkville, Kendall, ILlinois in 1859. [WFT, CD#3, #1660.]

- I am not related to Mr. Dyer, but he lived at the house I own in Yorkville (formerly Bristol), Illinois. The house was in the Dyer name from 1856 until 1900. He died March 15, 1860 but apparently his widow and children stayed at the same house.
- His grave and some of his families graves are a short distance away in an old cemetary.
